As well as being a mediator and a member of the Family Mediators Association, I am formerly a qualified counsellor with my own person centred counselling practice.
I am wholly committed to helping separating and divorcing couples find a way forward that benefits the whole family. As a former solicitor, working in Gray’s Inn London and throughout the North West I regularly attended court including the Court of Appeal, Industrial and Employment tribunals. But court in my view and from first hand experience is only rarely the answer, particularly where families are concerned.
I believe mediation offers an altogether better option for separating couples to work together to work out solutions whether they be financial, parental or simply about how and when to divorce. There’s no magic formula, but I believe that talking to someone can help. Working with someone in a warm, safe, supportive environment really can help. It is very important to me that my clients feel they can trust me. That way I can help them find solutions to the conflicts that arise. I work in a professional way and take very seriously the well being of my clients, the trust they place in me and the need to respect confidentiality. My background as a lawyer for many years and the work I do now, has given me significant and in depth experience of working with very sensitive and emotionally challenging issues.
If you would like to discuss with me, how I can help your family find a better way to divorce then please get in touch. You can call me on 07796 652766 or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
